About me

profile, smaller imageTRUTH: My missed dream in life was to be the anchor of the Today Show.  For years I enjoyed a fabulous career in public relations and advertising, but broadcast journalism never materialized…nor did ballet, ice-skating, or singing and dancing on a big stage (which I’d like to think I’d be really good at.)  Basically, I just want to put on a show.  But what I’m coming to grips with is that GOD is putting on the show and I’m outrageously blessed to play a bit part now and again.

More importantly, He has shown me that the only real dreams worth having come true for me every day simply by being a daughter of the KING.  Then, heaping icing on what already is more than enough, He has allowed me also to be wife, mother, sister, and friend to the most precious people on the planet.  It is the rich fellowship of believers that brings me the most joy.  It is the genuine love and compassion among friends that is most fulfilling.  And it is the overflowing grace and love of a mighty Savior that fills me to overflowing.

So with joy and satisfaction, I say, “This is Today.”

“Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”  Psalm 23:6
